Farmers Market in the Fall Mood

You can still find several local Farmers at the Cannon County Farmers Market on the Courthouse Square on Saturdays. Several of the Farmers and customers enjoyed a 'misty' Saturday morning on October 10th. Even though it was a little chilly, it was a beautiful Fall Day to be at the Market.
There was several Fall items available; corn stalks, straw bales, pumpkins, gourds and more to help with anyones Fall decorations.
Still alot of Fall Produce available; summer and winter squash, sweet and hot peppers, potatoes, green beans, turnip greens, pears, baked goods, jams and jellies and much more. Rumor has it there might be Apple pies and Brittles next Saturday on October 17th, you can really smell Fall in the air when the pies are baking, pass the ice cream please!
The Cannon County Farmers Market will be open until the last day in October, be sure to stop by and see what is there. Visit with the Farmers and see what else they might have available this season and what they are planning for next season.

Fall Pumpkins and More

On Saturday, October 3rd you could find the Cannon County Farmers Market on the South side of Rite Aide in Woodbury, there were several Farmers with an assortment of produce and Fall items. The Farmers and customers would like to give a special THANK YOU to Rite Aide for the use of their parking lot while the Annual Car Show was using the Courthouse Square.

It was a wonderful day and young Mr. Fann enjoyed helping customers pick out a perfect pumpkin, several other Farmers had corn stalks, straw bales, gourds, pepper ristas and winter squash to help make anyone a nice Fall display.

There was still plenty of great produce available; summer and winter squash, turnip greens, green beans, broccoli, potatoes, pears, sweet and hot peppers, gourds and baked goods and also jams and jellies.

Farmers and Customers would like to say thank you to John Whittemore and Tom Foolery for performing Bluegrass style music during the Market, anyone is welcome to come and 'jam' with them.

The Farmers Market will be back around the Courthouse Square next weekend, be sure to stop by and see what is available. Remember the Cannon County Farmers Market is open Rain or Shine!
