Fall has Arrived at the Market

See how the "farm girl" Miss Fann has grown in a year, (noticed her picture on the right next to her brother) We were delighted to see her and Mrs. Fann at the Market Saturday with a truck load of Pumpkins. Several other Farmers arrived with nice selection of pumpkins, winter squash, gourds and pears. This is a definate sign Fall has arrived at the Market.
The Cannon County Farmers Market located around the Courthouse Square has enjoyed several beautiful market days this growing season. There has been several Farmers with a good selection of produce and fruit this year and the season is not over yet. The Market will run to the end of October as long as produce is available, so be sure to stop by and see what will be available from the Farmers.

Bluegrass Music can also be heard over the next few Saturday from John Whittemore and Tom Foolery and several others. If you'd like to join in, bring your guitar, bass, fiddle etc and enjoy some "Pickin" time.
Mrs. Steve (Esther) Edwards of Esthers Produce here in Woodbury had assortment of peppers, squash, tomatoes, flowers, jams and baked goods available Saturday. Other Farmers had green beans, field peas, turnip greens, pears, tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, watermelon, summer and winter squash, pumpkins, gourds, baked goods, jams and jellies, and more.
Look forward seeing you at the Market on Saturday.
