Still Plenty to be Found at the Farmers Market

There was plenty of produce to be found at the Cannon County Farmers Market, Saturday, September 19th. The Naylor Children had Chestnuts for sale, cute as can be in his cowboy hat!!

Mr. Thurman Bogle, had watermelon, pumpkins, red and green tomatoes, sweet potatoes and potatoes.

Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Bussell of Cannon Co. were new farmers to the Cannon Co. Market. They had a good selection of various produce; summer squash, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and more. It was a pleasure having them at the Market and hope they return.
Several other Farmers had Sweet and Hot Peppers, Baked Goods, Jams and Jellies, Pears, Okra, Cucumbers, Herbs, Flowers, Summer and Winter Squash. Still alot of wonderful produce and fruit available, be sure to take time to visit with the Farmers and find out what their fall crops will be.
Very important message for the next Market on September 26th, due to the Car Show, you will find the Market Farmers on the South Side of Rite Aide that morning from 6am to 10am. This is only a temporary location for the time the Car Show will occupy the Courthouse Square and will return to the Courthouse each Saturday until the end of October. Be sure to stop by and see "What's Pickin".
