Plenty of Pickers at the Farmers Market

Saturday was a "Pickin" Good Day at the Cannon County Farmers Market on the Courthouse Square. It was the place to be! There was plenty to 'pick' from. Corn, Tomatoes, Peppers, Okra, Gourds, Pumpkins, Squash, Baked Goods, Jams, Jellies, Field Peas, Turnip Greens, Watermelon, Eggplant, Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes and more.

Miss Rhianna enjoyed "Pickin" a Pumpkin from Erdmanns Farms and several other visitors to the Market enjoyed "Pickin" out produce from several of the Farmers.

There was also Special "Pickin's" from John and Rebecca Whittemore and Tom Foolery who played Bluegrass tunes, Howard Johnson, Austin Erdmann and Kim Davenport arrived and joined in with them. They plan to be at the next market also, so if you play or sing and would like to have an enjoyable Saturday Morning, get down to the Courthouse Square and do some "Pickin".

The Cannon County Farmers Market will be open to the end of October or until growing season ends. Watch for more Fall Items to arrive, it's getting close to Pumpkin Pikin Time! See you at the Market.
